Punjab legislators belonging to PML-Q and other allied parties on the appeal of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have undertaken to take care of one family each under "Adopt a Family Program."

The decision to this affect was taken in a meeting of legislators with the chief minister here on Tuesday. Addressing on the occasion, Pervaiz Elahi said the whole nation had shown exemplary unison after October 8, adding the behaviour has been also a limelight by international institutions and international media, he said.

He said besides their 'Family Adoption Program', the provincial government would establish two tentage villages at Chakwal and Fateh Jang.

The chief minister said the C&W department had prepared 12 by 18 square foot model houses costing approx. Rs 1,20,000 and 100 of them would be prepared in 15 days.
